The idea of establishing a national Mother's Day was inspired by women working to improve the lives of women. Mother's Day, like the job of "mothering," is celebrated in various and diverse ways. This day should honor the multiple ways that women are a source of strength for their families, communities, countries, and the larger world. More than 30 years ago one of our supporters suggested that we do a special "Mother's Day Card" as a gift to honor the important women in our lives. It was a great idea and we've been doing unique Mother's Day Cards ever since.
This Mother's Day, we are continuing the 2015 theme of “Weaving the Stories of Women's Lives"
Honor your mother with a donation to the National Women's History Project.
A hand-addressed Mother's Day card and will be
sent to each woman you designate on Saturday May 2, 2015. If you would
like any mailed earlier, use the order form to indicate that date along with
how you want the card signed.

How to Order a Mother's Day Card
- Go to our webstore and

- Choose the type of card

- Note the “Ship to” item
